These promotional editions do not appear to be as well made as the regular editions. The Hastings is scarce but the Walden Books edition is easier to find than the regular retail edition.

Several different editions with different artwork exist.
Published by Simon & Schuster under their Wanderer Books imprint and then, starting in 1987, under their Minstrel Books imprint. Starting in 2002 this book was released under S&S's Alladin imprint.
The Wanderer editions have several internal illustrations by an unknown artist which were removed in the Minstrel editions.
