The Hardy Boys Clues Brothers Series


Hardy Boys, The Clues Brothers Aimed at younger readers like the similar Nancy Drew Notebooks series, this series of short, simple mysteries recounted the adventures of Frank and Joe's first years in Bayport. In addition to several new characters, most of the regulars from the original series showed up here also.
Published by Simon & Schuster under it's Minstrel Books imprint.
Volumes 1-8 were produced for Simon & Schuster by Mega Books Inc.
All volumes had a color cover and many black & white internal illustrations.
Volumes 1 & 2 had a "Special Introductory Price" of $2.99, after that the price was $3.99.
Hardcover rebindings, primarily for library use, made by Demco and others have been observed.
Due to poor sales, this series was discontinued after 17 volumes.
